Start with an idea
Our planned workflow begins with a description of an effect: flowing light, a rhythmic pattern or a textured surface.
An independent project started in April 2026, using Claude-assisted shader development in video production. We are exploring how to turn this hands-on workflow into reusable tools for GLSL and TouchDesigner.

Our planned workflow begins with a description of an effect: flowing light, a rhythmic pattern or a textured surface.
We aim to use Claude to help draft GLSL, explain parameters and work through shader compilation errors.
The intended destination is TouchDesigner: a visual workflow artists can adapt for performances and installations.
The interactive shader above runs locally in your browser. It demonstrates the visual direction of the project and supports pausing the animation.
Claude has been used to help write and refine shader code for video work. The next step is to develop a repeatable product workflow: Claude API integration, shader error feedback, TouchDesigner compatibility and clear parameter controls. These product integrations are planned.
LumaPatch is a personal project in active exploration, started in April 2026. Shader techniques have been applied across video-production work. The demo on this page is a separate browser study; it is not footage from those projects.
Created by Seungmin Lee, LumaPatch explores practical ways to use language models while developing shaders for video. The goal is to make iteration on visual effects easier for creative practitioners.
Current work focuses on shader experimentation and video-production applications. A standalone commercial product and integrated Claude API workflow are still in development planning.
hello@lumapatch.siteCreative coders, live visual performers and installation artists interested in GLSL and TouchDesigner workflows.
Not yet. This site introduces the project and includes a preset browser shader. Claude API integration is a planned development step.
No. This is an independent project exploring workflows with those tools. Claude and TouchDesigner belong to their respective owners.
No. The visual study runs in your browser without microphone access, a prompt form or analytics scripts.
